    Cool TORONTO: Pictures, Videos, Thoughts and Memories 1800's to Present

    I found some very cool pictures of our great city and figured a thread for everyone to share their impressions, memories and pictures of good old TO would be cool.


    here we have downtown Yonge st at Gerrard. on the left you can see the Bermuda Tavern and Zanzibar
    not sure of the year. anyone with a good guess?

    Here is another lost Toronto landmark. the famous Victory Burlesque Theater on Spadina. with Shopsy's near by

    Ralph Naders death car the Corvair crossing the intersection, and if you look close you see a kid getting spanked in front the the Victory

    The Carlton Odeon Theater beside Maple Leaf Gardens


    funnily i saw that movie there, as well as Goldfinger, which i sat through numerous times

    From the cars and the fact that First Canadian place is under construction, it's probably 1974 or 1975.

    Downtown 1930. you can spot Union Station, the Royal York and Old City Hall(not old then lol)
