How do you solve the problem of your SO getting old?

I'm still in my 30's, but as I look at young beautiful women and their awful-looking mothers, or look at awful-looking old women and realize how beautiful they were when they were young, I get really worried. I guess many guys here have already decided on their solution to this problem as their SO's aged.

So what did you guys do? Dump the aging SO and pursued a younger one? Kept the aging SO, and hobbied to satisfy your need for sex with young women? Other solutions?

I'm not in this situation, but I imagine you deal with it by loving the human being you've decided too share your life with and finding joy in that connection, combined with having the self awareness too realize you're ageing too.

Of course many people also cheat/hobby but I'm sure there's a lot more too that then just "my SO got old."

Getting old sucks. Every Birthday, you are one year older. I decided to stop getting older. I gave away my Birthday.

Now, every year, my SO has two birthdays, and I have none. So far, she hasn't caught on ...

I don't have a problem with my wife getting old. There will still be lots of attractive young women around to fuck once my wife gets too old to be all that pretty--but none of them will be as good a friend to me as she is. That's the more important part of our relationship. Sex is superficial (but fun).

Yep, I know of a 40-something woman who recently left her 40-something husband because he is not aging so gracefully and she is. She looks incredible for her age (I'd do her in a heartbeat!) Okay so maybe it's not the only reason she left him but the point is it can work both ways.
