The site is free & open to everybody. So it is open season & will get the good, the bad & the ugly. Common sense tells you that the fit & attractive girls + well built men 5'10"+ don't really need to use the site unless looking for a LOT of sex action. WHY? Because in real life they get plenty of attention & dates. It is us SHORT guys that are at the very, very bottom of the dating pool that are on there. EVEN on P.O.F. we are the rejects of society. SHORT men will never be seen as masculine & thus sexually attractive. SOLUTION: L.L. = get OUT of the short man zone. You NEVER what to be identified as a short man= game over!
The premise here is that, there are actual people combing through the whole membership database, and actively looking for good looking people to delete. That seems like a lot more effort than its worth. And for what? Because of the fear that successful relationships will reduce membership and thus reduce the number of people logging in?
I would say "actively deleting people" would reduce the number of logins a lot more than "successful relationships" would. Successful relationships are hard to achieve in real life, let alone in cyberspace. A better explanation of people getting deleted is probably just sheer incompetence on the part of the people managing the site. Maybe accidentally deleting something here, server got disconnected there during a patch or something. This IS a free site afterall, so.. it's not going to have the best IT team behind it. Maybe some people's profiles got accidentally banned cuz their code did something wrong.

If profiles are getting deleted it is probably because someone or a few flagged it as a fake. I've seen fake profiles on POF with hot model women and it would be deleted a week later.

but anyways back to the topic at hand, POF is good for one thing, meeting someone who wants short term dating or a quick boom chicka wow wow after you buy her a cup of coffee at Timmies. I have come to the conclusion that meeting someone of quality (educated professional,attractive and is mentally stable) is made only through connections in real life, not on POF. But I still play on there because we all like the boom chika wow wow once in awhile. Oh also 5'6 and disabled so lets not go down the height route.
