I was a bit puzzled when a guy walked by with his umbrella in hand but without offering anything to his female companion. So, if you were walking in the rain, would you share or pass your umbrella to the lady who's walking next to you? I may have a second thought about sharing my umbrella if I were with my mother in-law:eyebrows:. But, other than that it should be a now brainer to treat the lady nicely:)

Oh boy, if you did not use the umbrella to keep your mother in law dry, you would be in deeeeeeeep shit.

I have at times offered a lady an umbrella, and been declined when it really isn't raining enough to warrant its use.

Could be she's just a weirdo like me, who doesn't mind getting wet & feels claustrophobic under those darn eye gougers.

Possible reasons:

1. She was wearing a rain coat.

2. She didn't want to get close to him and thought she'd rather get wet or catch a cold.

3. Someone else said that maybe she was pissed off at him and distancing herself.

4. He's no gentleman and totally inconsiderate.

Well, these days, here are some other possibilities:

1. She's a female co-worker; if he offers the umbrella, he gets sued for sexual harassment.

2. She's a first date; if he offers the umbrella, it would be viewed as some kind of move.

3. She's a feminist classmate; if he offers the umbrella, he'll hear about thousands of years of the oppression of women.

No matter what, you offer the umbrella.

It's her choice to accept or not but you've fulfilled your responsibility as a man once you offered.

Nice guys finish last. Women are more attracted to these "alpha" males who can't be bothered by sensitivities.

The more he ignores/disregards her the more her pussy tingles and wants him and the more "hand" he has.

She got something to prove in that she can tame him and turn him into mush in her hands.

Once the novelty is gone and he is a challenge no more, having been conquered she can now kick him to the side of the curb.

I wouldn't be too worried as he is more likely to get his cocked sucked than the guy who offers the umbrella and gets into a tangle as ig-88 outlined.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Learned the art of the brolly in senior high school. It is a lost skill and never fails to get a smile and and a thank you from the distaff side. There is always at least one bumbershoot, one golf sized and one more formal full sized black one the car for the unexpected rainstorms. It can only be beat by the Sir Walter Raleigh gambit. I've never done that one.

Why do you travel with 3 umbrellas? 1 is enough, is it not?

Always a good idea to let em get wet at least once.

If they start screaming "I'M MELTING! I'M MELTING!!!!!" It could save you a lot of hassle in the future.

Not to mention threats against your little dog too!

Ya it is. One guy is heartless with an axe, another uses nothing but strawman tactics is his arguements. The third is ok, just a bit of a pussy......
It's the girl you have to watch out for, she says she's 18 , but who really knows for sure these days.
