Yes I did mean central defenders of which Boateng stands alone. The scary part is Bayern are doing it without the inspirational Pig Farmer!

Signore Palotta STFU about Benatia, it has cost us dearly. Run your sports interests like you do your holding company.

After the Keystone Cops display against Pananthiaikos, Bonucci drops down on the list. And it underscores how important Ogbonna is to Juventus, no way would it have been so nerve wracking had he played. And no way is he going to United in January.
Looks like we will be doing it without Alaba for a while now too. The good news is we are through the group stage in the CL and can afford to be without him for a while.

I think the Pig Farmer will be back soon. Alonso needs a rest!

Is Beppa Marotta a genius? Consider the evidence: Paul Pogba, Nando Lliorente, Kingsley Coman.

Total transfer coat = $0.0

With the arrival of the last Seba Giovinco is now expendable. If Arsenal are actually interested in him Juve should let him go. He needs to play and with his pace he'll thrive in the EPL. He's just as important a wildcard for The Azzurri as Goetze is for Germany, he's not doing any good sitting on the bench.

Claudio Ranieri has a knack for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. He's just been sacked as Greece's coach.

Goal has put put a list of their Top 50 Under 18 prospects again. Here are the Top 10.

1. Hatchim Mastour: Ac Milan - Italy
2. Alan Halilovic: Barcelona - Croatia
3. Martin Odegaard: Stromsgodset - Norway
4. Gabriel Barbosa: Santos - Brazil
5. Kingsley Coman - Juventus - France
6. Gianluca Gaudino - Bayern Munich - Germany
7. Antonio Sanabria - Roma - Paraguay
8. Yiouri Telemans - Anderlecht - Belgium
9. Ante Coric - Dinamo Zagreb - Croatia
10. Rubin Neves - Porto - Portugal

There doesn't appear to be another Spanish Golden Generation in the works. With Catalan separation imminent, Spaon has a problem.

The complete list:

HM has had a growth spurt, he's now pushing 6'. He's expected to become Milan's trequartista, taking over the role once played admirably by Kaka. Although the one they currently have is pretty fucking good: Jack Bonaventura. Nice to see Maurizio's son Gianluca Gaudino make the list. His grandfather moved to Stuttgart from my birth region to work for Mercedes Benz.

Now Lahm is hurt. Bayern's injured list is better than most squads in the CL!

Sturridge is hurt too, for at least a couple of months. Ditto for Daley Blind

Is Daley Blind as good as his father Danny? He was a member of the Dutch Euro winning team of 1988.

Can it get any worse for Arsehoul, losing at home to the most expensive, dysfunctional club in the EPL. And I don't understand the constant intrusions over Kevin Strootman. He's still recovering from an almost career ending knee injury and James Palotta (Roma owner) owns a chunk of the Glazer's debt. Can someone explain it to me?

Different types of players. Danny was a CB, Daley plays as midfielder for United.

Blind has a chance to become the next Denis Irwin for United, and if Strootman signs he'll be their next Roy Keane

Arsenals' record against top EPL clubs is truly horrible

United are desperate for a permanent MF'er, Strootman is the right talent at the right age.
They would be smart to sign him ASAP in the winter

Ok, but Strootman sustained the same type of knee injury that sidelined Ronaldo for almost two years before winning the World Cup. And after the WC, his career went off the rails. If United are willing to take that risk, by all means. Presently he's not starting for Roma and he didn't play against Atalanta.

Let's give a moments though for defender Leandro Castan, he has a potential life threatening brain anomaly called cavernoma and undergoes surgery next month. My thoughts are with him and I hope every other football fan as well.

He's either not matchfit, or his injury hasnt sufficiently healed yet, or Roma are saving him for a January sale.

I think the last option is most likely

Nice to see my Reds finally win one yesterday although they still need a lot of work, hopefully they will start to get healthy soon. Also nice to see Liverpool go crashing down to CP today, this club is in more trouble than Man U.

United made a mistake in not signing Benatia, with him Bayern are the favorites to win the CL.

They may have needed the money, a new stadium doesn't come cheap. Nike has just pitched in with an exclusive shop on the grounds. Expect Strootman to go for at least $40 million, his status will depend on the club eliminating ManCity from the knockout phase of the CL. At this stage, as a Roma fan, I'm not worried about him. I just want the defense to get healthy.

Strootman chose Roma over ManU to learn how to be better at his game from DDR. Just like De Vrij, who signed with Lazio, that was his motivation at the time.

It was Strootman who gave the ball away that lead to Roma dropping 2 points.

Now they have an uphill climb to get 2nd spot

Even the best players pull a boner, look at Boateng.

It was Mother Russia's winter that did them in. By the 50th minuted the club was completely numbed out, Gervinho suffered most of all. At worst Rome gets 6 sub zero days a year. On a positive note Strootman will work off the pitch rust and Astori is back. We could have used that airhead against Bayern. Now if we can get Maicon and Torosidis back, I like our chances.
