I like an actor with a deep voice that resonates, whenever they speak, they steal the scene.

Here is my top 5:

1- Walter Pidgeon
2- Gregory Peck
3- Lee Marvin
4- Alan Rickman
5- James Earl Jones

Hopefully not too far off-topic, but I like actors with distinctive voices such as:

Christopher Walken
James Woods
Anthony Hopkins
Jack Nicholson
Ray Romano
Michael Caine

I find Tom Hank’s voice to be pleasant and comforting.
I he becomes the new go-to guy after Morgan Freeman passes.

Let’s not forget Peter O’toole. Another great voice is tough guy Canadian actor Michael Ironside. You can also mention two late, great Canadian actors: John Vernon and Lorne Greene (the voice of doom back in his CBC days).

Patrick Stewart is losing his golden timbre, age is catching up with him.

Orson Wells had an incredible voice. David Fincher's Mank is still scheduled to be released during American Thanksgiving, Gary Oldman plays the title character. Whether the film is a hit or bomb will depend on Tom Burke reproducing Wells timbre.

Don't need a top 5, when it comes to great speaking voice: Richard Burton is way, way out on his own as #1.

I'd make up the 5 with Laurence Olivier, Alec Guinness, Burt Lancaster, Robbie Coltrane.

For ladies -- Julie Andrews also out on her own as #1.
