Both moderators definitely tried to play it straight without drawing too much attention to themselves. Perhaps too much. They could have tried to bring Trump back around to the subject a few times.

I get it the border crisis affects jobs, govt. resources and drug smuggling, but it was becoming a broken record. Trump would have been served by moving off that topic at some point. It's not like there won't be hundreds of millions dollars of ads in the swing states talking about the border.

All don had to do was answer the question without the babble. GOP in a landslide.

If I was Trump I would not do a second debate...He did about as well as he could do. Take the win. I thought Biden picked up quite a bit after a slow and garbled start. I think his team mistimed his ''medication'' to be honest.
