Israel has been protecting themselves since their inception. No soldiers from other countries have set boots on the ground defending Israel.

Israel is a multi-ethnic state where religious rites are enshrined in the Basic Laws and where Muslims and Christians are given full control over their own religious affairs and where Muslims are given control of Judaism's holiest site. Meanwhile hamas and the PA follow Jordanian law which makes it a capital offense to even sell land to Jews and where every faction agrees that a future Palestinian state can not include any Jews.
