That was a really good showing for Canada. I agree that Russia was a very tuff draw. Hoping this showing lifts more interest in volleyball in Canada. It's such an amazing sport to play and watch. The verticals on some of these guys is insane.

Actually the top Canadians in vball play in many of the Euro leagues as pros. The leagues have different tiers similar to soccer.

I agree that genes is a hugh part of it. From Northern part of India which is a mix of multiple races and cultures over the centuries. Just a shade under 6ft but the kids born and growing up here are much taller. Would say boys are averaging 6-2. The nutrition is a big part of it as well...
