If you want Breezes, Jibacoa is actually halfway between Varadero and Habana. It'll save you 1/2h each way. The resorts are pretty much cookie-cutter anyway. And 5 bucks will only get you to the clubs in Varadero not all the way to Habana (unless you're splitting the ride with 4 people).
