Costco. It is easy to strike up a conversation about the price of something or a cool recipe. I have had success at the Queensway location. Just make sure that their husband is not lurking near by. Tons of women at Costco.
Toronto does have great beaches and my suggestion was this: once the warm weather arrives, join one of the hundreds of "volleyball" teams down at Ashbridges Bay. That place is one huge singles meet up. You all have fun. Go for pints after and meet some active and attractive people. Hell... when I was playing, the staff from "Jillies" had a team. I met some lovely ladies that day who were NOT SHY to talk to you and flirt! Find a similar pick up sport. Tonds of co-ed soccer pick up in Toronto.I guess Toronto doesn’t have a beach, although “Hi Girls” only had moderate success from this beachgoer.

Clearly, someone needs constructive ideas on how to meet someone
The women you see at Costco are fat and frumpy, they are buying bulk for their families. I did meet on younger woman there, I was getting a Costco hot dog and was getting a drink at the soda dispenser. I asked her if she wanted to know a secret. I told her to tap her cup when she was getting her soda at the machine. This gets you more syrup and the drink taste better and less watery. That is one way to start a conversation.Costco. Are you fat and frumpy lol hotdogs and extra syrup. You’re going to make them the fat women at Costco. You think all those women were always shopping for families ?I know a woman that met both her husbands at golf clubs, I think she was interested only in a guy with a mid to high income.

In the states you could bring your cat or dog inside Pet Smarts, I went with a woman to get her cat some cat food and cat litter, she stepped away to look at some items and I was left with her cat on the cart. A good looking woman came up to me with her cat on a cart and we were having a conversation. When my lady friend came back to the cart and that conversation quickly ended.
Homesense, coffee shops near universities (if u like em young), someone mentioned Nordic spas but even gyms with a sauna like shangri la, sweat and tonic or even goodlife, walk past those little pop up events (usually girls will stand at each portion looking or taking photos which makes conversation easy), another niche one is cafes or restaurants that have a casual little bar area. Like moretti cafe if you guys know where that is, the little table that faces outside men would always approach me. Also pet storesThis thread is a response to the thread How to pickup a girl from the mall? | Toronto Escorts Review Board Forum | Terb

Luckily for me as an 80 year old, and growing up in Toronto, as a young guy in my 20s, in the 1960s and 70s and enjoying rock and R and B music I found that there were many public dance clubs in the city that were full of girls going to these types of places to meet guys on the dance floor. I started attending these places although I couldn't dance but seeing so many gorgeous girls I learned how to slow dance and rock and rhythm and blues to the point that most times I would leave with a girl and began dating many of them. After about 10 years I met my beautiful wife of 52 years at the Avenue Road Club in Yorkville. They were the best years of my social life. Aw, so many memories.LOL.Homesense, coffee shops near universities (if u like em young), someone mentioned Nordic spas but even gyms with a sauna like shangri la, sweat and tonic or even goodlife, walk past those little pop up events (usually girls will stand at each portion looking or taking photos which makes conversation easy), another niche one is cafes or restaurants that have a casual little bar area. All of this.Friends of friends
Friends of the family
Through Common interest (music concert, aerobic classes, yoga, ect)
Traveling (resorts, are generally a good place to make friends)
Dog park (if you own a dog)
Having a cute dog is a chick magnets
Go out with your friend to restaurant and bar ect. (You won't meet your wife but you can work on your pick up lines)
Dating site (I don't approve but wathever)
The main idea is not to come up to someone who didn't even notice you and shoot your shot. Look for a eye contact. Multiple eye contact. Smile to her....is she smiling back?
Then you approach. You might look at multiple woman and never get a look back. But you never approach WITHOUT the look back. You will scare her.
Haha! I have a friend who is infatuated with a woman 18 years our junior. He showed up at her dog's Birthday "Pawty" in a dog park because he saw it posted on Facebook. He said he was "in the neighbourhood". He got nowhere. She texts me, and I've convinced myself I'm playing a long game. Lol. At least I get to tease him everytime I get a text from her.Wrote it in the other thread. Go to the dog park. You need a dog tho otherwise you will look like a weirdo.
Just dog sit for a friend and take that dog to the dog park. The women like it when you love dogs and help out friends. 2 checkmarks right there, and you don't have to ever worry about looking after more than her dog.No, I like dogs and it would be nice to have one for a day without owning one
so I would be honest about the dog but can you rent one?
Fooling someone into a relationship with a lie is a bad idea
Never heard of renting a dog
I have a friend who's son met his wife in the produce aisle at Sobey's. He wrote his phone number on a paper bag for mushrooms, handed it to her and said that he'd heard that mushrooms should be stored in paper bags. Helped that he was a fireman shopping in uniform for the fire hall and he's tall and fit. My friend now has a daughter-in-law and a couple of grandkids. My original handle was banned from The Lounge in 2014 for a post in which I suggested that a guy could get lucky by hanging around in the ice cream aisle of a Sobey's between 8 and 8:30 PM on a Friday night. At least one plus-sized woman would probably rather fuck than eat ice cream while watching a rom com with her cats. Whoever dropped the dime on me to a Mod didn't understand the word 'slumpbuster', or maybe she was reading TERB on her phone while chosing a frozen desert at the grocery store.
I think you missed your calling. Also, thank you for using paragraphs. These threads would be great material for an Indie film that is marketed as a Rom-Com...
Wonder if Hollywood would ever do such a realistic script?
This is actually a new dating thing I saw online. It’s a code that if someone is carrying a pineapple in their grocery cart it means they’re open for conversation. From what I understand it was somewhat organized and during a day of the week and timeframe and certain produce implied certain gender preferences and dating expectationsI have a friend who's son met his wife in the produce aisle at Sobey's. A few years ago, I'd go to the St. Lawrence Market to buy brussel sprouts on the stalk. When walking around the market, I couldn't believe how many women stopped to talk to me and ask about the brussels. Grocery shopping might be a thing...
Secret codes used to advertise preferences seems kind of 'gay' to me.This is actually a new dating thing I saw online. Awwww that’s a beautiful story, and many congratulations to you and your wife for making it 52 years wow. Honestly the club and dancing vibe went way downhill in Toronto and kinda the whole world that I wouldn’t suggest it for meeting anyone. Like it’s all people there with different reasons and finding someone genuine is hard. I think to meet someone and fall in love with them it needs to be when you’re both caught off guard, and girls at clubs are way too expectingLuckily for me as an 80 year old, and growing up in Toronto, as a young guy in my 20s, in the 1960s and 70s and enjoying rock and R and B music I found that there were many public dance clubs in the city that were full of girls going to these types of places to meet guys on the dance floor.
