Any woman who appears on a dating show is, by default, materialistic—chasing the fantasy of luxury, status, and a lifestyle beyond what the average person experiences. These women enter such shows with sky-high expectations, seeking an idealized version of romance drenched in wealth and excess. Yet, when faced with a billionaire in disguise, they rejected the very opportunity they claim to desire, exposing their own superficiality. Meanwhile, the billionaire, who was never truly there to find love but to showcase himself, has now amplified his desirability a hundredfold. By orchestrating this revelation, he has transformed himself into an irresistible prize—one that these same women, and many others, will now covet even more.
The women weren't completely in the wrong though.
The guy hid his identity and who he was.
Presented himself as someone who was broke but had high ambitions.
The girls were right in saying that ambition while attractive isn't realistic for relationships.
They are right in saying that.
His take that they shouldn't be materialistic and should just desire a simple hardworking life is a tad patriarchal and old fashioned.
Also it is totally normal for women to love things like jewellery.
Nothing wrong with that and it does not make one a gold digger automatically.

Nothing wrong with that. I would date a rich ugly woman too, but i wouldn't date poor ugly woman. People who says that money cannot buy happiness either never have had enough money or have very poor imagination lol
Evolutionary psychology. Women are always assessing strength behind the scenes. One women told me that if I lost my arm, I could not handle it.
Come to think of it, maybe I would apply for MAID if that happened.
If they are poor because they are lazy, yes.
We are all equal now. We all have the ability to work. If someone is reasonably able bodied and able minded then they can improve themselves. There is no reason a person cannot become middle class.
I know what it's like to be near bottom, in tough times, and pretty much have to work their way up from scratch. I had to sacrifice, suck it up with some bad working environments, work a lot of hours, and search for opportunities.
This is a nation of abundance and opportunities. Barring physical or mental illness, yes women who are poor are bums. Just like a man is.
I would date her yes. But if she was skint, terrible with money, and no prospects would I be looking for an LTR? Maybe not..I can honestly say ...

These days my list of nice to have would be - (in this order)
- Compatible sex drive/average to good looks (a 7 with a sex drive is better than a 9 or 10 with none). Its a balance
- Fiscally responsible - doesnt have to be rich but doesnt spend all her money on bags and shoes
- Honest
- Healthyish lifestyle - not OTT gym rat - but not a couch surfer either.
- Self confident - not always complaining about her looks etc
- Nice to others.... Generally a nice person to be around...
When I was younger it was all about the shoes - if she showed up for a date in high heels I would take her to a muddy park for fun.
I perfer girls who are confident enough to wear flats/runners - since I prefer girls who dont mind getting dirty climbing a mountain...
How much they earn or own or have in their bank account never really comes into it.
However that all being said - beggers cant be choosers right so if Im looking for the next wife I guess i could lower my standards and find a rich one.
I would be with someone poor. Currently in the Philippines right now and met some really hot & friendly girls who live in shacks like many people do. Nothing against them and it is really difficult to get ahead when earning $10/day. The girl who washes my laundry…man I would love to wake up and just look at her all day. Hope she doesn’t clue in that I have been dropping off clean clothes for her wash just to see her.

Well to begin with ..... if she is looking for a gold mine she will discover if there was gold, I would spend the gold faster than she can so that problem taker care of itself.
The other points you list show you have class and think very highly about her character.
i on the other hand I may have little chance of dating her mother let alone her so if I may scrutinize that photo one last time ..
If she is willing - I don't care if she can speak English.
it's quite common situation. That's why I use meeting sites loveagain.com. It’s easy to set up if you already use Facebook, and the matches are based on your interests and groups. I liked that it’s separate from your main profile but still familiar. I met someone through mutual likes, and the connection felt organic. It’s less overwhelming than some other apps. And hey no extra app to download.
