I actually had some interaction with our health care system recently
I saw first hand that the nurses and doctors are doing amazing job
inside crumbling system
it seemed like a miracle that they can actually function as well as they did
the shortage of staff was very noticeable
but the once that were there did a stellar job
I've had plenty interaction with our health care.
My first hand experience is we are lacking not only in labour, but in service and process too.
As I pointed out, Canada is the 4th highest spender on health care, but multi-level/complex health care is severely lacking.
If you're going for day surgery and will be out in a few days/hours, you probably won't see the issues.
And when you complain about the process or experience, you are swept under the rug. It's almost impossible to complain. It is like a mafia.
