"Oh shit, soiling in aisles, 1,2,3,4,5,7,8......"Please shut up.
If the NDP and Bloc were respectable parties, The Liberals would have lost tonight.

Let me try and outline why Pee Pee was successfully branded Trump lite!I posted he was not aligned with trump. You deny reality and call it lip service.

People like you are the reason this country has gone to shit.
Congrats.
The conservative leader lost his seat. Now you're exaggerating again.
Almost half the country voted for PP.
Thats not a resounding rejection, nor is PP a far-right politician.
Vote tally so far is:
Carney 43.5% (8.3 million votes)
PP 41.4% (7.9 million votes)
Thats a difference of 400,000 votes. The country is almost evenly split.

I didn't say he was MAGA.Doesn't make you maga nor doesn't mean he aligns with trump politically.
It's just a way to make him a villain and get simple minded people like you in a frenzy. Not once have you mentioned anything that really matters.
That's all that you can come up with.
None of this makes him maga or aligned with trump.Let me try and outline why Pee Pee was successfully branded Trump lite!
1. Populist Messaging and Anti-Establishment Rhetoric
2. Aggressive Communication Style with his confrontational demeanor
3. Nationalist and Protectionist Policies Advocating for a "Canada First" approach, Poilievre emphasizes national sovereignty and economic independence.
4. Poilievre has expressed distrust of global organizations and agreements, aligning with Trump's critical stance on international bodies. He has opposed certain trade deals and environmental accords, arguing they compromise Canadian interests
5. On cultural matters, Poilievre has taken positions that appeal to conservative values, such as questioning gender diversity and criticizing "woke" policies. He would say the word "woke"! This is red meat to folks with common sense to stay clear and vote against him.
6. Poilievre supported the 2022 trucker convoy protests against COVID-19 mandates, aligning himself with movements challenging government authority. This mirrors Trump's encouragement of protests that question institutional legitimacy. This was the stupidest possible play he could have made to lose most of the country's undecided voters.
Thank you. It's better than the other choice.Congratulations.
I noticed you have nothing to say about Carney. It shows what you really base your voting on.I didn't say he was MAGA.
I said he was MAGA adjacent.
Dont bring American populism to Canada.
It is going to fail.
If the CPC doesn't learn from this they will lose the next one too.
Looks can be deceiving. He’s a politician, his manner of communication is extremely important, both verbal and non-verbal. And yes, he should be able to “sell”, to persuade, and to get people to work in our interests. That is his job. That’s not any more or less “superficial” of a requirement than a good resume.
He is our front facing person. Lacking these skills would make him impotent.
(I’d argue this stuff is important for everyone tbh, but I don’t push that on people and worry about myself.)
Its not even close to a resounding rejection. Not when you look at the whole country. The conservative leader lost his seat.
He is the first prime ministerial leader of the party candidate to lose his own riding, that he held for what, 21 years?
That is a resounding rejection
Hey, everyone sees things differently.I noticed you have nothing to say about Carney. It shows what you really base your voting on.
I already see most of you guys not enthusiastic on Carney. Congrats on f’Ing up Canada even more.
Over the past few elections, I’ve noticed more Canadian (specifically the left) wanting more of a US antagonist vs protagonist style election. Even in the media, some of the headlines are so slanted it becomes harmful to the future of Canada.Last night proved that the country is very divided, just like the U.S.
True. But people omit the way he lost: there were 90 candidates on the ballot in his riding. This is just a mocking at this point. i don't know why it was allowed, but there should be only one candidate from each official party participating in elections on the ballot. The conservative leader lost his seat.
You should check poll results before and after JT resigned.Trudeau didn't even need to resign...he probably would've beat Peepee...I'm glad he quit... Hopefully Carney cans the Carbon Tax and moves close to the center.
In Quebec, there are a small number of very common surnames, dating back to the days of New France, (years ago, the Montreal phone book had three pages of people named J C Tremblay).True. But people omit the way he lost: there were 90 candidates on the ballot in his riding. This is just a mocking at this point. i don't know why it was allowed, but there should be only one candidate from each official party participating in elections on the ballot.
I'd probably be writing the same thing if the results were flipped, but this is straight copium. Canada has 2 right wing parties, 1 centrist, and 3 left wing parties. Its not even close to a resounding rejection. Not when you look at the whole country.
Canada is almost evenly divided

Yes JT got battered on the polls. and Carney wasn't...but there was a silent liberal base who are still on the fence on switching sides...and Trump winning was enough ammo for the liberals to spook them...You should check poll results before and after JT resigned.
This is why people are wary of conservatives: "My guy didn't win. Let's restrict democracy until he does"True. But people omit the way he lost: there were 90 candidates on the ballot in his riding. This is just a mocking at this point. i don't know why it was allowed, but there should be only one candidate from each official party participating in elections on the ballot.
