I'm skeptical. When the war was going on, the Gazan media continually claimed to be starving, but aid shipments were continually entering Gaza and there was no real proof of hardship, aside from HAMAS bullshit.

Also, it works out very conveniently for Israel to cry the victim in all this and roll up their sleeves to their armpits, to dig deeper into the blood. I am guessing that Netanyahu gives as much of a shit about the remaining hostages as he does about the population of Gaza. They are expendable in pursuit of the bigger picture. A massive land grab and expulsion. I suspect they could have found the hostages if they really put their minds to it. At this point they are pretty much sacrificed. Why waste an opportunity when presented with one?
