Oh I agree.
Especially not with the orange clown.
I do think Iran would have to develop nukes if they don't want to be bullied around by the US and Israel.
If they can only keep to themselves and not fund groups like Hamas and Hezbollah....
I do believe mutually assured destruction works.
Look at India, China, Pakistan, North Korea etc.,
After all we seem to be using stopping proliferation as a reason to use conventional weapons that do all the damage.

The issue is Israel, not Iran.
If Israel ends the occupation of Palestine and gives back the land they stole from Palestine, Lebanon and Syria there would be a chance for peace.

The Iranian government is repressive as shit, but so is the trump gov't and the Israeli gov't.

The question is whether to blame trump or Netanyahu on this one.

If Iran left the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), it would remove its “legal obligation not to build a nuclear weapon”, Mark Fitzpatrick, an Associate Fellow for strategy, technology and arms control, told Al Jazeera.
Iran would be “free to engage in nuclear activities without the oversight monitoring of the International Atomic Energy Agency”, he explained.
“Iran has been threatening to pull out of the NPT for several years… as leverage in diplomacy”, adding that “given the enormity of the situation that Iran faces”, the time has likely passed for such a threat.
Fitzpatrick, who is also a former director of the Non-Proliferation programme at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, said he is concerned that if Iran were to withdraw from the NPT, other countries might follow suit.
He said nations like Saudi Arabia have vowed to match Iran if it were to pursue nuclear weapons, so it might take Iran’s withdrawal from the NPT as a signal that Iran was seeking “to pursue nuclear weapons in secret”.

All of us here have 100s of Iranian friends and all of them hate and trash-talk their government.
but I guarantee that now they wish Iran had Nukes. …as nobody would want to see their homeland in such distress. My heart goes out to Iran. Xo
