I agree with Ok Computer.

Would add The Misseducation of Lauryn Hill and Nirvana Unplugged in NY

Bruce Springsteen and E Street Band's "Darkness On The Edge Of Town
I saw the Darkness on the Edge of Town tour at the Montreal Forum concert bowl, November 8, 1978. I was about 15th row on the floor. Bruce was two feet away when he sang part of Spirit in the Night in the audience. That tour was arguably his peak as a live performer.

I didn't like the mix on the Darkness album. To me, it was 'muddy', but the songs are great. I won a free copy of the album from a 'guess the release date' promotion.

Here's the December 8, 1978 show from that tour at The Summit in Houston, Texas:

My own rip from DVD.

I was very tempted to put The Bends instead of Ok Computer but Climbing up the Walls is just too good. As for Nirvana...Lake of Fire and Man Who Sold the World are, for my money, the best Nirvana songs ever.

I do, which is why I love them so much. Nirvana did them so much better than the original artists, though if I'm not mistaken I believe that two members of the Meat Puppets played guitar and bass on stage with Kurt and Dave for Lake of Fire

There's no such thing as perfection but for me Michael Jackson's 'Off the Wall' comes pretty damn close to that benchmark.

Album title: Off the Wall
Artist: Michael Jackson
Producer: Quincy Jones
Release year: 1979
Contributions: Rod Temperton, writer & arranger; Louis Johnson bass guitar; Bruce Sweiden engineer & mixer; Patti Austin, background vocals.

2. Rock With You
3. Workin' Day and Night
4. Get on the Floor

Side two:
1. Off the Wall
2. Girlfriend
3. She's Out of My Life
4. I Can't Help It
5. It's the Falling in Love
6. Burn This Disco Out

Michael Jackson- Off The Wall
Jay Z- The Black Album
DMX- Its Dark and the Hell is hot
For Jay Z I'd say The Black Album is his 2nd best album after Reasonable Doubt, which I have in my top 10 hip hop albums of all time.
