I've been helping a friend tear up her kitchen and in the process took out a plaster wall.
I was shocked at how heavy that plaster was and I couldn't fill the garbage bags even halfway full because I wouldn't be able to carry it out of the house.
I then thought how people have to remove concrete to try and rescue people. I did see one clip where a young boy was trying to save his dog because he could hear it barking and crying. The boy was doing everything in his power to move the blocks and couldn't. But some young teens and guys in their twenties rushed over to help him and they managed to get the dog but was in bad shape and but the boy was crying with joy and sadness, that fucked me up.
Seeing that clip I can't even imagine the clean up and what they will find under all of it. Fucking insane.
