Help out a newbie. What are the big red flags when looking at an AD and when you arrive?

I personally like to see transparency in an ad. If a SW shows her face, to me it looks like she is the genuine person offering the service. I respect if they want to stay anonymous but blurring out their face but if their main goal is to scam then obviously hiding their identity is a priority.
I think this thread has gone off course a bit. OP is a newbie asking for what red flags he should be looking for in a LL posting to avoid getting scammed.
If he's someone without much experience telling which ads are fake, avoiding LL postings with face pics is good advice: most scammers add face pics to their ads.
Clearly there are legitimate women who show their face, but a newbie sticking only to ads without face pics is a good way to increase his odds of a legitimate posting.

I agree. If they show there face and are legit, they probably have some other presence online like reviews in this forum, Twitter or a tryst profile. If not scam for sure!
If you cant find any other details other then leos I would not take the plunge!
My red flags in the ad.
1. TGTBT pics. Number one for a reason.
2. non North America clues in the photo (eg electric sockets).
3. Only contact thru OF
4. Only contact telegram / WhatsApp
5. Non Canadian area code.
6. Multiple ads with different girls, but near identical descriptions of services. (typically Asian ads).
7. TGTBT prices.
8. Unknown, unreviewed provider asking for deposit.
9. Sorry to stereotype, but many Asian ads are clearly bait and switch, and may have trafficked girls. See clues above. Try a search for the same number or provider in other cities. You will often find the same ad in multiple locations.
10. Open advertising of unsafe services.
When you arrive
1. Crappy hotel/ bad neighborhood.
2. Excessive delay after arriving for appointments (probably double booking clients, or at least back to back).
3. Police car parked out front. Lol
4. Sudden appearance of excuses such as “ran out of condoms” or “got my period”.
5. Springing up charges on you at the last minute.

This is a lot of red flags! Just curious as to how many ads on Leolist you would estimate per page are legit? Also given there are so many red flags, what are green lights?

I’d guess maybe 1/4-1/3 are legit.
For me, I won’t make an appt with a girl on LL unless she is reviewed elsewhere and / or has a legit internet presence.
That's bonkers, 65-75% nonlegit and I’m going to estimate 80-90% of inquiries from there in Ottawa are time wasters. This site is making millions to waste a lot of our precious time and deliver very little value.
