I showed up at Vegas Island briefly this evening. There were three or four girls there.

One was a much higher calibre than I was expecting. Her fabulous red lingerie complemented her dark skin exquisitely.

None were quite what I was looking for, so I left. I am almost regretting it now. She is echoing in my mind a little, and I feel like I should have offered more financial support so that her level of attendance is maintained.

It's kinda of a shame that club but the end is near, the money vultures are circling,I hope not had some good times there long ago

Agreed. The club is struggling because of its location and its management. It is unfortunate, because the location could work well if the management would stabilize under someone reliable, preferably someone with real business experience. Instead, George and his associates keep undermining anything that begins to succeed, and the club is not being given a fair chance to become a strong long term business.

I had a good time when I visited - friendly and sharp bartender, playful women working there.

But the place really needed cleaning and a fresh coat of paint.

Paying $10 to get in to that place is a crime. Sketchy entrance etc and the parking lot just looks like bad things happen there. I find the concept of 'bottle service' etc there to be hilarious (the area on the left when you get in that is up a couple of steps)

Ummm, I have never paid cover there. There are usually one or two girls who encourage no charge.

And my mouth is usually running, telling them they do not have enough clients to discourage getting more.

Most of the time when I show up, there are one or two girls who tell the security guard or the manager not to charge me cover. It has been quite a while since I had any drinks comped in the club.

It’s been seen before with the Silver Dollar , In that situation, the club remained open despite the issues being investigated.

One key difference at the time was that the problems were tied to the conduct of certain employees and elements of management, rather than the business being shut down outright.

While operating without alcohol is clearly a major challenge for any bar, from a legal standpoint the establishment could continue operating as long as its underlying business licence remains valid, even if a liquor licence were suspended.

It is possible for the club to regain their liquor license, I do not know of the exact process, and it will take some time.

I feel like paraphrasing Inspector Renaud from Casablanca. " You say there was cocaine on the premises?? Shocked I am completely shocked." There is always an element of people selling illicit substances in strip clubs, including the dancers. How they got on the radar would be interesting to find out. Based on my knowledge of the place over several iterations of management there I would not be surprised that the owner of the building and his family had something to do with this.

The fact that CBSA and Homeland Security were involved points to more than just a local enterprise.

Quite possible, but we could also look to some of the former Silver Dollar dancers... I know of at least one who usually had an assortment of merchandise.

the Investigation has been concluded. That means it's not on going or active, I don't know why you are saying it is... it was an international investigation...
Charges have even been made already. names and who's in jail, and who is out on bail, and who is out on an undertaking is all in the article.

now there are some court proceeding to still happen, yes. but if you want the dates are available and you can attend their trials😉.
