Marner is sharting the bed in Vegas and probably should have rode it out with the leafs if possible. The leafs miss him also. He had an overtime gaffe the other night that led to a loss. Plus his wife and newborn are in a strange city. I get the feeling he's miserable there and trying to find his place.

Or was the vitriol in Toronto towards him too much? And would they ever trade back for him or been there done that?

I never would've done the sign and trade. Let him walk he doesn't get the 8th year and VKG is struggling for cap space. Treliving should've asked for Tomas Hertl instead.

Not to jump off topic but Simmons is really hit or miss with me.

Like Marner or not, he has to get adjusted to a new system and new linemates in Vegas. That takes time.

Marner is a point-per-game player in Vegas. I heard that he hasn't been a fan favorite in Vegas. Wait until they see his performance in Game 7 of the playoffs. If Veags are to go deep in the playoffs, it would be because of Mark Stone and Eichel.
