I am wondering what clients feel like spas/incalls are “missing” or not enough of?

I’m not talking about girls but actually facilities

if you don’t visit spas what’s stopping you?

I feel like 2026 is a year of growth for everyone and I would love the hear feedback from clients what they are missing in the experience ❤

I feel often when we set up a place we add things we enjoy but sometimes miss key elements that can make an experience go from woooo to OMG WOAH! 🤯

(Feel free to add which location in the city is lacking too)

I've been to a couple of spas (Brass, Alpha, CMJ), and none of them have a convenient place to put my clothes, so I end up folding them and putting them on a chair. In the winter, we also have to deal with a place for our jacket and mitts/gloves/toques.

So a clothes tree to hang stuff on, some sort of shelf or table to fold/put clothes on, and a warming rack that we can put our gloves/mitts on.

Ohhh yes!
I find winter adds a whole new level of problems/extra layers!

That’s a great idea!

I do my best not to go to the spas, I enjoy a nice incall so much more. I find it feels much more personal.

First of all, coming from Toronto, I just have to say that you gents are lucky in Ottawa in terms of the way the experience is delivered. The SF2? Sigh...

Fully agree that better management of the clothing that has to come off would be a big win at pretty much any spa I've ever been to. But if I were to Frankenstein the perfect spa experience facility-wise? Give me this:

* the towel warmers at Vibe
* the oil warmers at Paradise
* a mix of some rooms with tables and some rooms with beds, and some ability (within reason) to book one or the other option
* unscented body wash
* mouthwash in the room, which is standard at my fave spot in Toronto but I find mostly lacking in Ottawa
* garbage cans in the room (yep, there's at least one place out there that doesn't have them, which boggles my mind)

Is there anything that would get you to a spa?
say a private door or something

or you strictly an incall guy?

Maybe it is privacy, I’m not sure. I definitely feel more at home with an incall, whether it’s a home or even hotel. I think it’s the atmosphere.

I think I was at a spa 4/5 times this year, all to see the same person.
That definitely makes sense!

Speakers in rooms. I always appreciate when a lady brings hers, interesting way to get to know one another through musical taste. Listening off a phone isn’t all that fun because everyone knows the sexiness is in the bass!

better towels. Some of these rooms in spas are gorgeous but the towels are reminiscent of what I’d have found borderline acceptable during university. I prize the towelsI have at home, and love the experience at nice hotels. Wish it could be the same. Similar thought even for the shower mats when stepping out from a rinse. Just little touches that feel spa like.

lack of beds or very frail/small beds can be a bit of a downer. I’d be happier with a nice bed than a nice couch. Paradise Spa’s tables are my least favourite, and Hush’s beds feel like they’ll fall apart any second. Alpha west is very nice but some of their downtown beds are tiny!

managing traffic is also important for discretion. Though the only place I’ve gone to where they didn’t seem to even try was PS/AT. Standing in like there behind two guys while one of them was trying to negotiate with the receptionist was so akward. I’d have left had I not had an appointment made. Alpha, on the other end of the spectrum, manages this impressively well given they have higher traffic.those ladies could easily work as ATCs.

I’ll say though these are nitpicks.. I’m impressed and happy with the setups across the city.and have always felt them to be inviting. I’ve had the pleasure to spend time at Hush, Alpha, PS/AT, Luxe, and Sparx and all of them felt very easy to settle into. It’s obvious owners take pride in their spaces. Alpha West is my favourite location by far in terms of the setup.

Oh geez, how could I forget the two things I most want?

* nice showers, but not *too* nice with so many geegaws and doodads that you need an MIT degree to figure out how to operate them. Or some signage that's big enough for the vision-impaired amongst us that at least tells you a) which knob turns the water on and off and b) which knob adjusts the temperature and in which directions. Less of a problem in the spots that offer SF2, but that's not every spa, and not every MA in the spas where it's common.
* basic understanding that you're running a business where the odds are pretty good that you'll have showers running constantly throughout the day, and sometimes multiple showers operating at the same time, which means YOU NEED MORE THAN ONE HOT WATER TANK.

I also prefer an in-call location. Although i have never run into another person at the few times i have been at a Spa, I can still hear others and it sorta throws the experiences off a bit for me. I have seen Nadia at CMJ and it was great.....nobody else there nice and quiet. Easier access to a bathroom, just for us older Dudes as my drive into the city is at least an hour or more and a bit more during rush hour, so when i arrive I usually have to pee like a race horse! More discreet entrances and exits, most places are pretty good, but Hush is on a main street with lots of foot traffic.....maybe that is good or maybe not? Again I have only been to Spas prolly like a total of 9 or 10 times. Not an expert.
HB69.......was here?!?!?! Spas are fun.....in-calls are funner!!

Not missing, but I like to support independents.

I've found incalls to be more intimate overall.
The spa, with maybe a half dozen rooms, many with just tables, feels a bit like an assembly line.

But the biggest that I am no longer interested in spas is the price.
I can find lovely women, independent or otherwise, for much less.

Personally I’m not a fan of spa’s as I perceive a higher risk of running into someone and I can’t deal with that anxiety. Spa’s have their place and I know lots prefer that optionI also see from the providers side where it’s safer and more beneficial for them.

Incall’s very based on provider, but I can tell you what I like. 1) warm and bright. I don’t like feeling that I’m in a dungeon and I don’t like places with all the red lights. 2) parking, some providers have parking instructions while others don’t seem to care or consider this. 3). Don’t leave me hanging out in the hall. When I visit it should be like visiting a friend.

For me I do this is to fill a void of intimacy. The intent is to relieve stress, not add to it.

I will add that to get to OMG WOAH! it’s the connection, not the place ❤

late addition: I fully understand privacy, but list the area of the city in. Pick a mall or school 5 minutes away. This is a big city that isn’t always easy to get around.

I love spas makes feels like I’m back in a 1865 Wild Wild West brothel. Walk in, grab a drink (at some) talk and choose your lady then go to the room. Just like how they used to do it the old days!

Here’s what I don’t like about some of the spas in Ottawa.

Walking into CMJ West I just feel cringey walking up those stairs before I even enter with how dirty they are. This location also needs to be updated badly in every way possible inside.

PS/AT needs new massage tables or beds. The vinyl is basically falling off every single massage table in there and is so gross with the amount of bacteria that gets trapped in there underneath the sheet.

Hush DT needs heat!

Alpha has the same problem with their lounge chairs in the rooms with the material falling off of them and also needs instructions for their showers. The MAs have no clue how to use them.
