Threaten to leave for them. Cogeco will give you a song and dance about how these smaller companies don't have tech support and what not. In the end, they will either match the price, or come close (like $60/month instead of $55), but it's still probably better than what you're paying, and you don't have to do anything, like return their modem or install a new one.
Interesting. Owned by Cogeco.

oxio is a Canadian independent internet service provider (ISP) based in Montreal, Quebec, that emphasizes transparency and simplified pricing. Acquired by Cogeco Connexion in early 2023, it continues to operate as an independent brand.

I tried a few of these. They work well during the week but at weekends, the lag was terrible so I discontinued.
I have a basic Rogers cable package with one extra. I used thetvapp.to for other channels free. But now thetvapp.to does not always work. Especially in the prime time evening.

Crazy. I had no idea. I thought they were like Teksavvy, where they bandwidth in bulk from Cogeco (or Rogers/Bell) and resell it cheaper.
