I skipped the whole Melania experince, so I am not scarred or yawned for life.
We were out last light to take in a live production
Of Scarborough Musical Theatre's current production of 'She Loves Me'.
At Scarborough Village Theatre. A thrust stage venue that seats about 280 patrons.
Set sight lines had that trimmed to about 240 seats, and those were all full.
Well directed, sung, acted. Nice choreography.
Good sets, lighting design, costumes, hair.
Chorus were all as strong as the leads. No one was just phoning it in.
Band was tight. Sure sign of a good muscial director.
A very nice night out.
Since it was on long weekend, no highway road construction.
Smooth traffic getting there, a nice unrushed dinner before the show at a local restaurant, and home again with no snags.
That is close to nirvana in terms of getting around the GTA.
We were thinking back. We see a lot of live shows more than once.
But had only seen this one once before.
In Sarasota, Florida at a dinner theatre, in 1994.
Shit, that made me feel old fast.
