Prices keep rising, some asking $400+ for an hour, I get COL is going up but come on, so.................................................................

Since mfgers are giving smaller amount same price packaging etc maybe the girls should keep pricing in check but give less time for it, $X for 45 mins, dependent on provider, or 20 min sessions etc

I dont think that most who pay for an hour stay for an hour anyway

thoughts????

Most agencies offer shorter than 60 minute sessions at lower price points...

The minimum I'd book is 45 minutes though, cuz deducting both showers it only leaves about 30 minutes for fun.

What can you do in a 20 minutes session besides just wham bam?

Live within your means…I paid for $400 sessions plenty before, not anymore cos my circumstances change, now I pay around $200 for 45 min at agencies.

If I pay any hour, I expect to stay an hour….if I look at my watch after session and found out I got kicked out 10-15 early, I will not repeat with the lady.

It sounds like a hobbying version of shrinkflation.

My thought is, that based on my observations there is still enough "traffic" to keep prices where they are, if not even increasing in future! I just hope we don't end up like the GTA condo crash if/when the breaking point is reached :)

Time of use or off peak pricing is best for both parties. If a SP provides time of use for regulars at a lower price she can get her unused hours into extra income. Even if a client that would pay full price adjust his schedule for the less costly slots she would have more openings in prime time. Possible she might catch a new client and he may become a regular. Take a page from the McDonalds marketing play book. The economy is not great and many people kicked the habit of going to McDonalds during the pandemic. The have the McValue meals to keep the employees busy. They often have special products and promos to bring in clients

When there is news of a construction slow down, that is the indicator that the economy is slowing significantly. Construction has a trickle down effect on the economy.

Ultimately the only way to deal with rising costs is to make more money, which I presume most people here have done. This is why inflation runs in cycles. Everyone must make more.

Shrinkflation works for junk food, but most sex workers have enough prep and clean up time to make shorter appointments less valuable to them.

A person would take the number of hours of purchased sex they consume, and see the total increase in costs due to the higher rates. Of course some sessions can be eliminated, but for the most part the increased overall costs of sex has to be compared to the increased earnings of the consumer. It might be more palatable then.

If it isn’t more palatable, a person really has to look at how to earn more income, including staying in the workforce longer. Your dick is important. It needs to be taken into consideration when working harder and smarter, doing some overtime, taking on new clients and customers, taking on another job, not retiring, working part time in retirement, etc.

Nothing pisses me off more than entitled retirees, by the way. They act like the world owes them something, and it doesn’t. They are always on ISG in poor countries complaining that the 18-21 year old lady now wants $100 instead of $75.

I get your point about rising prices but it's pretty variable across SPs too. There are some that offer quick visits, and the Latino houses for 80/hh for example. Also TDL and DD have some well reviewed girls for 260/hr and I believe SFT has them for 250/hour sometimes less on promotions.

Can you please explain what Latino houses are and where I can find them? Thanks! 80 for hh, are we talking Canada here?

Yes prices are rising. They have risen for everything. Do you think that an escort should lower her rate, while everything used to operate her business has increased? Any smart business operator will adjust their fees to keep up with inflation. Some of us are understanding to that. After reading through a number of threads here this morning I can see why I've stayed away from this forum for so long.

Err... that is not why inflation "runs in circles" or accelerates. It is simply because we use a fiat currency that the governments keep debasing via increased borrowing and artificial increases of the monetary supply.

If anyone is *really* interested to understand the history and mechanisms behind inflation, I have two resources to recommend:

The Creature from Jekyll Island
The Money Masters

I agree that is how it starts (as it did this time with Covid), and the government can help perpetuate it with its fucking direct stimulus checks, but I think you are underestimating the push-pull effect that keeps it going for a long time. Prices go up, so labor demands more money. Labor gets more money, so prices keep going up. So labor gets more money again, and prices go up. Granted it was worse in the 1970s when labor unions wanted never-ending 7 to 10 percent cost of living increases.

No one is immune. We are in the “heavy flow” portion of the inflation menstrual cycle. No choice but to make more money unless you want the misery of reduced spending and inferior substitutes. If you are accustomed to high-performing, high-end escorts, you aren’t going to be any happier going to a quickie with a trash chick from LeoList than you are buying the day-old doughnuts at half-price. You just have to keep making more money to keep spending more money.

I'm not underestimating that effect. I am simply saying it is not the cause of inflation. In the absence of additional, artificial increases of the money supply, that push-pull would eventually stabilize to the new level of prices.

It is only when the currency is debased further that the cycle begins anew. The push—pull is an effect until prices stabilize, not the cause.
