But Biden was a better President than Trump ever was. Then again, any felon from a low-risk institution would be better than the current felon in office at the moment.Maybe. But she‘d make a better President than Hillary or Bill.
I dunno, its all looking like hegemony now. Whether the overt of trump or covert of Biden. But Biden was a better President than Trump ever was. Then again, any felon from a low-risk institution would be better than the current felon in office at the moment.
To call Biden rogue, tells me you have gone to far into your own narrative. Under Biden, the US was respected internationally and just because he didn't fawn over HAMAS doesn't change that fact.I dunno, its all looking like hegemony now. Whether the overt of trump or covert of Biden.
What trump has done is make the world see america as it really is, a rogue state like Russia that also puts out nice movies.
I'm talking more about the long history of american 'interventions', from South America to the middle east the states have long acted in their own interests. They tried to work largely outside the UN, but with NATO or coalition support as much as possible over the last couple of decades but historically the states have objectively not been that different than Russia. The coups in South America and attempts to put in puppet leaders over working with the UN was always their preference. We went along as long as we could justify supporting 'democracy' or some kind of 'pragmatic principles' where it was better to play along then fight trade wars.To call Biden rogue, tells me you have gone to far into your own narrative. Biden did well at maintaining the facade until Gaza. Remember there were mass protests against Iraq but the Bushes managed to convince the country to go along. Not so with Gaza, those protests and views have only increased over the span of the genocide.
America was 'respected' previously but more in the way that you could predict what they were going to do and it was possible to make deals with them. Under trump none of those are true anymore.
Do you want to discuss the list of american 'interventions' and tell us how many of those are morally much superior to Russia taking Georgia or trying to take Ukraine?
Vietnam?
Korea?
Iraq?
Venezuela?
The coups in South America?
Sure, a predictable strong man like Putin is easier to deal with than a wacko like trump.I agree with neutering Iran.
I agree with neutering HAMAS.
If Arab voters were supposedly so concerned about Gaza, maybe turning out in massive numbers for Kamala likes Jews did for Trump, would have been the smarter move because Trump didn’t exactly hide what he was going to do. But sure, let’s pretend that once the Trump Towers go up in Gaza, everything will magically be fine. Luxury condos fix everything, right?
As for the broader point internationally, under Biden, the U.S. was predictable again. Allies could negotiate. NATO wasn’t treated like a protection racket. Agreements meant something. That doesn’t mean every decision was perfect, but stability and credibility matter in global politics.
Under Trump, allies are not sure whether the U.S. will honor commitments from one week to the next. Yet you want to equate Biden admin also being rogue because he didn't kiss HAMAS's ass.
You can criticize American foreign policy; there’s plenty to debate. But pretending there’s no difference between steady, alliance-based diplomacy and erratic strongman theatrics is just willful blindness.
As I said, watch Texas.Watch SCREAMING Republican HUMILIATE Kristi Noem![]()
Watch what? Watch how Texas is rigging elections??As I said, watch Texas.
The polls had him winning before the election.Watch what? Watch how Texas is rigging elections??
Still waiting for the bodycam video that determines thatThe Mount Rushmore of thread opening post quotes:
This one looks pretty bad.
Unless the victim pulled a gun, I don't see how this can be justified - Philthy McNutsy
You still think ICE uses bodycam?Still waiting for the bodycam video that determines that
I guess you've been waiting patiently for over 62 plus years for the JFK assassination bodycam video to be released too, huh?Still waiting for the bodycam video that determines that
They didn't have bodycams back then, smartypantsI guess you've been waiting patiently for over 62 plus years for the JFK assassination bodycam video to be released too, huh?
Duh.They didn't have bodycams back then, smartypants
If/when this case goes to court the judge will order a release of the bodycam video.Duh.
That's what makes your "Waiting for Godot" foolishness regarding the "never to arrive" release of the ICE public execution bodycam videos so exquisitely ludicrous
If you are referring to Talerico, I preferred him beating Crocket because he has a better chance of ousting a Republican. I don't know why you thought I wanted Crocket, even though I like Crocket. A black woman cannot win in a red state. The polls had him winning before the election.
Now you're going all trump and declaring the elections fixed cuz you don't like the results.
Speaking of which:
Even Newsom knows supporting Israel is now political death.
I was the one that was here saying that Harris supporting the genocide would cost her the election and that dems needed to work to get her to change her policy. If you are referring to Talerico, I preferred him beating Crocket because he has a better chance of ousting a Republican. Unlike you, I just want Dems that can win. You are the one who supported Trump in 2024.
