Disagree. There are a lot of similarities between the old and new websites, some differences to be sure, but enough continuity to ensure a transition with some diligence (and maybe some tweaks).
Was very happy with the old website which was separate from the Appointment Plus booking system. Was easy to navigate through the website and make appointments
Wasn't thrilled to hear about a new website but have been using it to check schedules, bios, see availability and make bookings. The new website is a big-tent platform which replaces two systems.
There will be a transition period while clients get used to the system, but it should become second-nature after a while. Am getting more familiar with the website. Practice makes perfect
Some observations, helpful hints ...
1. New system indicates open time blocks, not available booking times, ie if clients want an hour at 6 pm, there needs to be five 15 minute time blocks available until 7:15, as there's a 15 minute window after the session for MA room cleanup.
2. System shows available time blocks from earlier in the MA's daily schedule, which gets confusing as there seems to be availability, but from earlier in the day or night.
3. The system uses the 24 hour clock, which takes some getting used to. Not sure if there's an 24 hour to AM/PM toggle.
4. Appointments aren't confirmed by notification. Clients need to double-check appointment confirmation by clicking an icon for booking history. Appointments can be edited for start and finish times depending on availability.
5. MA bios are listed alphabetically instead of by seniority. Makes it easier to find bios.
6. MA bios, client comments, availability & booking are all together instead of being under separate sections or platforms. More synthesized and efficient.
7. The Alpha experience remains the same. Beautiful women, upscale facilities, friendly staff, great music & drinks!
Have used the new system to check bios, schedules, availability & successfully booked & edited two appointments. (Reviews pending). Change is never easy but am getting used to the features.
Ideally clients get up to speed on the new system quickly so the admin, receptionists and MAs aren't subjected to endless kvetching.
It's called Alpha Club, not Beta Boy Club. Suck it up and get it done.
