I have met some honest, very hard working Roma in Toronto and one particular stunner , a beautiful gypsy woman a while back who was honest, hardworking and determined to dispel traditional stereotypes of Roma people.
I know another guy who is a volunteer translator for his Roma Slovak community and a real gem.
Another Roma I heard is working in the GTA construction trade and he says that although he is no saint, he is surprised at the level of corruption that he has witnessed in GTA construction projects.
