Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!

As I celebrated with my children during the week, today is a free day for me.

I went to see an noon move at the Cineplex at Bay/Bloor, but then saw that the Yorkville exotic car show was on Bloor, between Yonge and Avenue Road.

Lots of people, but managed to get some photos, only semi-blocked. Not great with my phone camera, but ok,

Lots of Porches, Ferraris, Lotuses, Lamborghinis, and a few oldies too.

Plus I'll get to watch the back nine, at least, of the U.S. Open golf tournament.

All in all a great Father's Day for me!

Met all my kids for brunch. Said our goodbyes in the early afternoon. Then went balls deep cavorting with my fave civvy friend-with-benefits for a couple of hours. On way now to meet brother and his family for ribs. Perfect day.

Kids took me to dinner at Earls in Burlington. Food was great: clam chowder + salmon + chocolate pudding.

But the highlight was the 3 hostesses and 8 waitresses: all stunning slim, perfectly shaped 9/10 beauties. Wow!!! I had to be coy to steal glances :)

Father's day is ranked 20th of the celebrated holidays, no.1 obviously is Xmas, no.2 thanks giving, so Father's day ranks somewhere after Arbor day. Mother's day is no.3 btw. Nice to know we fathers are held in such high esteem

I'll be honest. Now that my children are in their 30's, Father's Day is of minimal importance to them and me.

I was much happier having the day to myself to see the exotic car show, and watch the final round of the U.S. Open golf tournament. As opposed to the old days when they were very young, and Father's Day meant something to them. We would all go out for dinner, while the whole time I was praying that nobody mentioned any "spoilers" about what was going in in that golf tournament.
