Canada will be keeping 2/3 of all the millions of drones produced every year for their own armed forces.

That means they're trying to protect the country from attacks at the North Pole by Russia, and also from south of the border by America.

And yes I know it's highly unliky that America or Russia will ever attack us, but at the end of the day you never know.

Better to be safe than to be sorry.

Smart move by Trudeau and then Carney to give billions away
to Ukraine to defend us from future attacks by Russia. So long
as we keep up with sending aid to Ukraine Russia would never
ever launch an invasion into Canada from the North.

It is not just Ukraine. Many mineral-rich countries in the world hold
substantial gold reserves in their central banks.

Do you think Bank of Canada could just confiscate properties of
gold miners in the country to back up our currency at some point.

Yes. They can in fact. The emergencies act could do just that. But we wouldn't have to. We have a AAA rating, and our massive resources, copper, nickel, rare earth's, oil, gas etc would carry us.

Btw, no nation carries anything close to the value of their currency in gold. The total volume is a rounding error at this point in the world economy.

We Canadians are the good guys. I am fine with our leaders indulging
in virtue signalling; But only up to certain point. I will love it had Ukraine
received no more free money from us than some other poor African
countries.
