Good one. Use to do clubs a lot prior to covvid, never came across the timer thing. If ever I get to a club and get approached by a dancer.....first question will be "Do you use a timer" . I use to ask them if they knew how to count. Its a new era, times are changin.

I have on occasion asked a dancer if she knows how to count as in 1 2 3 not 1 2 4 before making thr trip to the CR. That has helped to clear the air so to speak. But I often keep the count out loud with mutual consent as we progress, helps as well. Use to love going with Gabrielle (long retired)...
