Lock up the parents as well. The parents were the likely sureties for her bail. Part of the job of a surety is to ensure that those on bail follow their conditions, which clearly didn't happen. To stop all this bail jumping they should start charging the sureties in cases where they did not follow the duties of a surety, not just forfeit the bond amount, which also rarely happens.

You really have to wonder what is going on here as the wanted male in this case is a 21 year old who was with her at the time. I wouldn't be surprised she plays the victim a bit in this case and claims her was pimping her out and this was an attempt to rob a trick.

There is a definite mental health issue here. It's nature versus nurture. She may have an underlying mental health issue her parents or her could not cope with.

That being said, the individual bears responsibility for their actions. We as a society may have failed this person in some aspects but she is an individual and should know what is right and wrong at the age of 14.

In this case we can probably say she will be a menace to society no matter what we do. Is there a point to locking her up and spending tax payer dollars on her life?

Would it be easier to execute her and keep society safe and save taxpayer dollars. I would pick this option.
