When the election will have little or no effect on daily life. Many do not vote.

The movement to Electronic Voting machines was spurred by the 2000 vote in Florida. The concept is to stop abuse of the system. Reality is that abuse is made easier by using electronics. It can however be made secure by not networking the machines in the field. Collect the units then under lock and key begin to collect data from them. Election processes were never ment to provide instant results

Starangely thhe need for these machines was a result of a cirten segmant of the public not being about to follow simple instructions. Sad when those who are voting can not place an X in the right spot.
