The most damning fact is that fewer than 50% of eligible voters actually vote.

This might be true in most free societies.

When the election will have little or no effect on daily life. Many do not vote.

The movement to Electronic Voting machines was spurred by the 2000 vote in Florida. The concept is to stop abuse of the system. Reality is that abuse is made easier by using electronics. It can however be made secure by not networking the machines in the field. Collect the units then under lock and key begin to collect data from them. Election processes were never ment to provide instant results

If any one of the above-mentioned accusations of voting inconsistencies were levelled at the Democrats, the righties would be marching in the streets.

And rightly so.

Strangely, the Rs remind me of the silent majority of Muslims when a few crazies bomb innocent civilians. There's no outrage, but there should be.
Starangely thhe need for these machines was a result of a cirten segmant of the public not being about to follow simple instructions. Sad when those who are voting can not place an X in the right spot.

And I think there is an argument that Shakespeare is actually God. Poland is the only country that fully supported the illegal invasion of Iraq, and Israel has become an exponent of Apartheid.

These Diebold machines have to be scrapped!

Been voting since the 60's in WNY and machines we used could never be programmed/rigged in the manner these Diebold machines can.
Our NY machines always left a paper trail.
This is real. It's actually happening. The reason they get away with it, is because it's so unbelieveable. Voting since the 60's eh? lol.. you are a tad older than me..which accounts for why your so much more sensible.

The only way I can remember my age for sure these days, is Cooper wrote a song that seemed it was for me on my eighteenth B'day. I liked the dude because it took a real man to change his name to Alice...

I've got a baby's brain and an old man's heart
Took eighteen years to get this far
Don't always know what I'm talking about
Feels like I'm living in the middle of doubt

'Cause I'm eighteen, I get confused ev'ry day
Eighteen, I just don't know what to say
Eighteen, I've got to get away

Lines form on my face and my hands
Lines form from the left and right
I'm in the middle, the middle of life
I'm a boy and I'm a man

I'm eighteen and I like it
Yes I like it
Woh, I like it, love it, like it, love it
Eighteen, eighteen, eighteen, eighteen, woh!

And I like it
I'm eighteen
And I like it
I'm eighteen
Yes, I like it
I'm eighteen
