What a show. Love the suspense that is built at each commercial break. This is a great show.

It seems like its going to be all about Jack this year. No supporting cast of any substance yet.

Last year there was that guy who cut his hand off and the other guy who gave the terrorist his daughter back in return for his agent wife who survived the virus attack.

Ps I'm not very good with names

Jack gets fired ! WTF ?

he saves:
S1 - a presidential candidate
S2 - terrorist threat -> nuclear bomb
- coup de tat (saving the president's ass)
S3 - terrorist threat -> virus attack

he gets fired for being a heroin addict !!!

I like the show...but have generally lost interest since season 1. If I miss a show, whatever. The whole format has lost its lustre, I hope this is the last season...

I know what you mean. I missed season 1 as I could not get into it even though I watched the first three episodes. I stoppped watching it.

A friend raved about the show so I rented the series and watched it non-stop after work for 3 days straight.

I watched season 2, all the episodes. The weekly shows, I thought dragged on. I hate commercials !

I started to watch season 3, but I hated the Mexican angle, yeah right as if they could be terrorists. I downloaded all the episodes and burned them to disc. I watched season 3 in 2 days.

I will probably do the same again but this time watch a few episodes at a time rather than over 2 or 3 days straight.

Ok. I missed the beginiing of 24 tonight. Why/how did Jack get caught in the convience store and hold it up?

he went in on purpose to delay the terrorist who made a pitstop and took hostages after a mock robbery. He held it up in order to give chloe? a chance to get the satellite feed

I own season 1 +2, never seen 3, should I buy it. I love watching it on DVD without the commercials.

Good so far this year, and a great line "save me the sixth grade Michael Moore logic".

I generally have an aversion to all TV, but with my internet being down a lot lately, I've been "forced" to check it out.

I never saw this show before and made a point of watching it due to the commercial for it. The terrorist theme was what caught my attention. Greg Sumner's daughter is kinda hot.

I gotta say I like it more than most things I've seen.

I'm not sure how it will hold up over time. Waaaay too many fuckin commercials.

Why was the girl who helped out Keither so pouty looking the whole time.

That kid shoulda put a bullet right through his mothers head.... IMHO .... what, what ?... it's not reality !

Season Opener Repeat

Just curious if any one knows when they are showing the season premier again. For reasons unknown my VCR didn't record anything.

Ok. But he let the terrorist go on a highway. Then when he got a GPS location went back to get him.. All the while, at least it looked like to me, not knowing that the hostage was a terrorist.


A little confused.

Virgo, Fox don't do reruns on 24. You best bet is catching it on the Mystery Channel (digital only I believe). Otherwise you'll have to wait till Season 4 comes out on DVD.

As for whether Season 3 is worth buying...I'm not sure if it's because the expectation is too high after season 1 & 2...I didn't enjoy season 3 as much. Still bought it though cause I will probably collect the whole series...

Jack knew all along who the terrorist was (I think). He let him go so that the terrorist could go back to the hideout and be tracked by sat. It all had to do with the delay in chloe getting the satellite re-positioned.

ps the black girl new to the show is a hottie
