Hey!! what is everyone's plans??

Does anyone even celebrate anymore? I feel like its a bit of a made-up holiday... I'm one of those people who would rather show love all year round, not just 1 day a year... then again some ppl love the holiday and go over the top... to each their own

do you think it will be an exceptionally busy day for SPs? or exceptionally slow with men showering their SO's with 'love'??

It is definitely contrived for commercial gain. Look at the silly "specials" put on by restaurants for the night. But, I take it as an opportunity to do a little something extra, spoil her a bit and hopefully bring about a smile or two. It's the little things that make life special.

Well I can think of no better way to spend this day than to visit the regular SP I see. Got her a ton of gifts and gonna really try to spoil her. She is one awesome lady, and she deserves it. She even puts up with me.

Hell, for $250-$300/hr I'd put up with you for a while!

Same here, but not with SP. I am seeing a regular civie, i've been seeing for a while. Its kinda date (drinks, bar hopping etc), and then to her place! Its not particular for Valentines, our schedules hardly meet. I would like to do it more often, but we are on opposite ends of the GTA. Another thought was to have Heidi+Vixen duo, but that will have to done sometime in near future. Ah, my ever expanding TDL :)

To answer your original post, I would expect that to see a slowdown for SPs with respect to their married clients, or clients who are otherwise in a long-term relationship (since they are likely to be spending time with their SOs in some fashion), but possibly an uptick in the number of single clients. I say "possibly" because the single clients may simply consider Valentine's Day as just as another work day (Valentine's Day falls on a Tuesday) so may not be necessarily any more or less inclined to see an SP.

So overall, a slower-than-usual day for SPs. But then again, I could be wrong!

Ahhhh, Valentines Day. The first real holiday of the year I truly look forward to. It's just a short step till Easter, and then I have to wait allll summer and fall until Hallowe'en. That's right, I'm in need of the half price chocolate sales that start the day after all these wondrous holidays! Only 4 more days! Let the eating begin!

if you're ever in Boston, checkout the chocolate buffet at the Langham hotel

it's a commercial holiday ... restaurants, florists, etc. benefit ... but hey, if it's good for the economy, whatever

hopefully, no one takes it seriously ... if your relationship hinges on this bogus day, you don't have much of a relationship
