You know I was wondering when someone was going to remember 9/11 on TERB today. The Anniversary, when the USA got thier asses handed to them on a plate.
He did write 9/11... not 911.You may have missed it because it was called September 11th instead of 911
My bad, I didn`t search hard enough. Glad that is an appreciate thread out there.
they are always sticking thier noses in other peoples business,
That's just rude. How would you feel if one of your loved ones was in that building?when the USA got thier asses handed to them on a plate.
I am an American and I was in a parking lot in Canada and I heard two Canadians laughing about September 11th and how it should be a holiday because it killed so many Americans. That's just rude. How would you feel if one of your loved ones was in that building?
I have relatives in New York, Boston and Washington DC, so that day affected me greatly. I look back now and I remember wanting blood. I was very upset.I am an American and I was in a parking lot in Canada and I heard two Canadians laughing about September 11th and how it should be a holiday because it killed so many Americans.
I don't believe most Canadians feel this way and there are many Canadians that I am proud to call my friend.
My condolences to the family and friends of the 24 Canadians killed that day in New York.
Actually, most feminists feel like that.Your attitude reminds me of the American feminist Barbara Kates. She basically said that American feminists couldn't give a shit about women's rights (or lack thereof) in Afghanistan or anywhere else outside the U.S. For example, they are much more concerned about an American golf club that doesn't admit women members than daughters being buried alive in Pakistan. Or, that women are being imprisoned in Iran for simply protesting a rigged election.
You are correct. Most of us (Canadians) do not feel this way, most people that I know would be appalled at the remark you overheard. So please do not take that comment to heart as being the Canadian opinion of the Sept. 11 terrorist acts.I am an American and I was in a parking lot in Canada and I heard two Canadians laughing about September 11th and how it should be a holiday because it killed so many Americans.
I don't believe most Canadians feel this way
