Pakistan has also joined in the fun.

A little girl misspelled a word in a poem she was copying out. Because she got a dot wrong on one letter what she actually wrote was "curse Mohammed" rather than "praise Mohammed'. It appears she was just a little girl learning how to spell and simply got that one wrong.

As a result she has been beaten, expelled from school, her mother has been fired from her job, and the whole family has been evicted from their home. The locals are still mulling over whether that is enough punishment, or whether more should be done.

If there's one religion that needs to be done away with first, it's Islam.
I think they're all a sham (praising invisible things/beings/people) but wtf, because a LITTLE girl accidentally misspelled something, they do all that to her and her family?
I highly doubt any Christian extremists or evangelicals would behave this way towards a child if they said something like that.


Gotta love the irony of religion, teaching love, peace, harmony, etc, etc... and shit like this happens.
More wars have started in the name of religion than have resolved any.
