Most complicated of all is the location of Israel ... right in the middle of those Muslim countries in which the Jews and them (Muslims) have been arch-rivals for centuries ...
But personally, I don't understand why these two groups dislike each other. I mean, ethnically/racially, they are the same type of people ... they should be like brothers.
To me, Christianity/Islam/Judaism in all their essence is the same religion. It's just a different name given to the guy that's up there ...
Yet, I had a friend who made a comment about Israel saying that having Israel in the middle of a Muslim region is like having a United States there just like S.Korea/Japan/Taiwan in Asia ...
