A1 Joy Spa, above Aji Sai Restaurant

Enjoyed a meal at Aji Sai Japanese Restaurant the other day (located at the intersection of Bayfield and Cundles in Barrie). While there, I noticed a sign for a spa located upstairs on the second floor. The name is A1 Joy Spa -- can't say I've noticed it before so it may be a new operation. I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that this sounds like an Asian place, based on the name. So... anyone been there? I'm wondering if it might be worth checking out. I'm getting a little tired of the limited offerings for attractive Asian MPAs in town, so a new spa would be a welcome development!

There was a nail place upstairs in that building for years... So before you get your hopes up, maybe worth a little snooping, in case it's a spa; not a 'spa ' - that could make for an awkward couple of moments, you know?

Ok so I checked it out today. It's definitely a "men's" spa. Called ahead and the rates were the usual ($40/hh, etc.). I didn't book an appointment, but decided to drop by later and check out the talent. Nice discreet entrance from the back of the plaza. Got upstairs to the spa and was greeted by a middle aged asian lady. I asked how many other girls were working but it was only herself. She offered a discount of $30/hh but I made an excuse and took off. Big disappointment... just another place with asian grannies!
