accessing programs over LAN network

Program stored on computer A. Windows XP. I want to run that program from computer B. A and B are connected on the same LAN. But I get "access denied" when I try to open A's Program Files folder from B. Same when I tried to put a shortcut on B's desktop, to open the .exe file on A. Am I doing something wrong? If not, is there any way round it?

You have to grant "computer B" the logon authority to "computer A"

This can be allowed through terminal services .....

make sure comp A and comp B both have the same username and passwords
or u can try to chane the share level permissions to everyone
