Accomodations 401/Brimley

I'm looking for a motel/hotel to go to for a few hours in the 401/Brimley area. I'm from out of town and will be visiting in this area next week. Please help me by suggesting a not to $$$, but good place. Thanks

Not too familiar with that area, but isn't there a Delta around 401/Kennedy.I just drive by and never really take notice.

There are also quite a few chain type places around and just past the Scar. Town Centre. I am being careful not to make any ,bring your Kevlar, type comments. You could search places out on the redtoronto.com site.

The "Have a Nap" is at the bottom of Brimley at Kingston Road and less than a 10 minute drive but, you did ask for a good place.

There's three major hotels located at Markham Road and 401 (one just north on the east side of Markham and two just south of the 401 and on the west side). I believe you could talk them into offering you a daytime rate provided you are out by around 4:00pm.

Ho/Jos is south of the 401, just east of Warden Avenue, again daytime rates are offered. There is also an upscale hotel, the Delta just north of 401/Kennedy (used to be the Renaissance Hotel).
