ActionScript for Adobe Flash CS3

I'm trying to put a script in a blank keyframe at the end of a scene that says, essentially, when you hit the ENTER button, proceed to the next scene and play. I've put the stop(); in the keyframe before it to hold the image, but no matter what I try, I can't get it to advance. Any time I try to find a fix online I get errors when I debug.

Anyone know the script I should be using? It should be pretty simple...

Actually, might not be that simple. First the button needs a unique id and then you need to load an event and a handler onto the button and establish an event type for which the button can be activated. When the handler gets called/activated (i.e. button clicked) the AS written for the button kicks in.
