The Infamous "Affluenza" Teen Is On the Run From the Police
Jordan Sargent
Yesterday 10:55am

Ethan Couch, the teenager who killed four people and severely injured two others in a DUI crash but got off because a jury bought his lawyer’s so-called “affluenza” defense, has stunningly run afoul of the law once again.

Teen Who Killed Four People Got Off On Probation Because He's Rich

Yesterday, a Dallas-area judge issued a warrant for Couch’s arrest after his probation officer was unable to reach him or his mother. Couch, who is 19, is two years into the 10 years of probation he received as a result of the accident.

Couch was first back in the news earlier this month when a teenager leaked a Snapchat (shown above) to local police and prosecutors on Twitter that appears to show Couch watching another kid dive onto a beer pong table. “Ya boy ethan couch violating probation,” wrote the tweeter, and though officials have yet to confirm that Couch was in the video, there are, in fact, other ways to violate probation—like missing a probation hearing and ignoring your probation officer.

Couch’s disappearance comes nearly two years to the day in which he was spared from prison, so maybe affluenza is just really bad this time of year.

When he is found, given the seeming blatant violation of probation, he is highly likely to be resentenced on the original charge and may get as much as ten years incarceration.

Much speculation is that they both are out of the country perhaps somewhere that does NOT have an extradition treaty with the U.S.
They are probably having dinner with Roman Polanski right now in France. Or, maybe they are having dinner with Ed Snowden in Russia.

Reports that this crumb and his mom are in custody in Mexico.
They should leave them in a Mexican prison for a while....

Snowden is in a different category, don't bring him into this. He will go down in history as a hero while you won't even be a memory.

In custody in Mexico.

I'm going to guess that he will now go to jail for the 10 years he was sentenced to probation for. I'm actually very surprised given the American style of "law and order " that he was let off the hook. I imagine that that judge's career is over.

Anyway, this entitled little prick is so stupid he and his dim wit mother were caught in a matter of a couple of days in a resort in Mexico. My guess is the stupid twat was using her cell phone and bank cards and they knew within minutes where she and junior were. It jus took a couple of days to fill out the paperwork.

Hoping they can add another 10 years to to his sentence for general stupidity.

Its really weird, but in the US they punish DUI's and accident deaths caused by DUI's very lightly.

In many States a DUI is still just a misdemeanor punishable with a $100 fine and probation

Jeezus fuck, even a 2nd or 3rd DUI can still be a misdemeanor : http://www.attorneys.com/dui-dwi/is-a-dui-a-misdemeanor/

DUI, or driving while under the influence, is a misdemeanor in all 50 states if it is the defendant's first offense. Most states also consider a second—or even a third—DUI to be a misdemeanor, provided a certain amount of time, generally seven to 10 years, has passed between offenses

He was a Juvenile being tried in Juvenile court where the emphasis is on rehabilitation rather than punishment. The Judge just retired last year and still chairs the Juvenile Justice Committee of the State Bar of Texas, and has received several awards including after the above sentence.

He had the deal of deals and all he had to do was keep his nose clean. He couldn't even do that and now his case will be going to regular criminal court.

It depends upon the circumstances typically a single vehicle DUI/OUI/DWI crash resulting in death can result in a sentence of 1-7 years plus fines and probation. Under different circumstances when convicted of Vehicular Manslaughter the sentence can be up to 30 years, but more typically results in an actual period of incarceration in the range of two to three years.

Apparently the prosecutor is going to throw the book at him in an adult court. And his mother is being charged with obstruction of justice.

What an ultra-maroon! Now all he has to look forward to is the Cacao Express.

His mother is the real problem here.
