Can you recommend one?

I called an auto wrecker once and found they weren't that much cheaper.

depends on your area really. milton area should go to mega city auto wreckers, it is on 6th line between 5th and 10th sideroad. no idea about other area's since i don't live near them. doesn't much matter if they are much cheaper as long as they are cheaper since odds are you are going to rub a curb and it will fall off anyway and you will be replacing it again.

Mikes Auto Wreckers in Stoney Creek used to be very resonable back when I was driving cars that cost me $500.00 to buy.

La la land
I ONCE bought from a wrecker a rim. I never and will never ever do that again.
First those rims at the wrecker are either thrown, or stacked on top of each other. Then the rim may have a hole or bent because the previous guy hit the curb to many times. I bought one to use it as a spare tire on the car. It did save me one time but I couldn't use it as a normal tire on the car.

Rims are no good once you start to see it leaks air constantly over a certain period of time, say a month. This will happen when you hit the curve or sidewalk or a big pothole. The edges will rust even for Aluminum rims. It is even worse how the tire is removed at the shop.

I think I only saved like 10-15 buck for used rim. But this I did because the car was old and was running the car to the ground. If the car is less than 7 years and you will keep it for long time buy new rims.
