Teacher Admits Sharing Pot, Vodka With Students
Math Teacher Says He Drank, Smoked With Two Girls


VENICE, Fla. -- Two students who said they went to a teacher's home to make up some schoolwork ended up drinking vodka with him and smoking pot instead, police said.

High school math teacher Michael Ziemian, 34, also showed the girls how he was growing marijuana in his garage, a Sarasota County sheriff's report said.

Ziemian was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, cultivation of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, delivery of a controlled substance to a person under 18 years old and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The school district put Ziemian and his wife, who is an elementary school teacher in the district, on administrative leave. His wife has not been charged.

The Venice High School students told investigators they went to Ziemian's home in March. He gave them vodka and tonic and smoked marijuana with them from a glass pipe, the report said.

He also took the girls into the garage and showed them a cabinet that contained marijuana plants, telling them he got his seeds via the Internet from another country, the report said.

Ziemian admitted giving the girls vodka and marijuana, the report said.

He was released from jail Wednesday after posting $40,000 bail.

At my high school there was a female teacher in her late 30s or so that used to smoke dope with students. And have sex with them (not me though- we mutually despised one another). She never did get in any legal trouble over it, though.

At the same school, some teachers did however get in a lot of trouble for running an SP ring at the school (this was several years before I went there).

Hm, did we go to the same HS? One was rumour to slept around while another female teacher got so drunk at one of the house parties. I wasn't part of the 'In-crowd', so its just here say. Didn't matter to me as they weren't my type. My eyes were busy with other gals.

Small Town High School

Raised in a rural small town in the heartland of Ontario, I can remember many such things happening.

Being that I was one of the biggest kids in school, 6'2" and 210 lb in grade 9, I was always asked to help out with "security" at high school dances. There are several times where I encountered the hot accounting teacher going down on one of the older football jocks.

As I got older (grade 11 & 12 ) I was on the recieving end of the "specials" this teacher provided. SHe was young (about 27 or 28) unmarried and stuck in a one horse town and she could suck a tennis ball through a vacum hose.

As a graduating gift she gave the entire starting line of the football team ( I was the half back ) a farewell part at her house on the beach, the beer, wine and pot seemed endless, as did the opportunity to find meaningless sex. She had brought a few of her friends to the party and everyone went home happy the next morning.

So it wasn't just in Florida that happens, and not just recently.

I attended a large Toronto high school. It was well know that one of the teachers had a girlfriend who was a student. In fact, each year he found a new girlfriend, as the last one would graduate (he seemed to like students in their final year of school).

Years later I was working in a fine-dining establishment in downtown Toronto. One busy Friday night I surprised to see this teacher and his date sit down at one of my tables. He looked 10 years older and she-well she looked like she was in high school. I guess he was still at it.

I often wonder how exactly did he get away with this sort of behaviour.

My school had a teacher who dated younger girls as well(not much of a surprise) however he also had alot of friends who were high profile athletes and often give tickets to the male students as a shut-up gift.

Female teachers were also very active in the student body. As evident in the "Senior Bang a Teacher" contest.

None of the teachers did much for me. So in terms of age, the girl was in higher grade and dated college guys, so experience for me to look up to.
