Hello there gentlemen and ladies too,

I am looking for 2 "pre-owned" or whole sale priced air-conditoners, small, no bigger then 5000 btu's. Obviously in good working order!
I am not interested in bartering and I want to pay cash. I also need them delivered too.

I contact several people on the paper, most do not deliver. I went to a place in Pickering who had "refurbished" ones ... at $400 EACH ... they looked pretty damaged.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated?

Thankyou,

Sierra

Another trick I've tried ...

if the unit(s) you want aren't on sale is to go up to the salesperson and ask if they're going on sale soon. This sometimes gets them to discount it on the spot. Most larger retail stores give the salespeople some leeway to offer discount. If not them, then the manager. You could also offer them cash for a discount. Just about everything is negotiable (except ladies' fees -- LOL).
