it's a good site for offshore crooks to sell snake oil and false products.
generally speaking, if your product is sourced from Alibaba, then you are paying too much. Alot of these products can be had direct from manufacturer on much lower terms depending on your negotiating ability.
3 of the companies i have contracts with are on alibaba... the same products are 500% more if i went through alibaba. instead i dealt directly with the manufacturers. keep in mind alot of the company names will say xyz manufacturing, but they aren't even manufacturere, rather, middlemen import/export brokers that try to put on the image to the buyer that they are dealing with the actual plant... just try and customize something, then you'll see what i mean.
this has just been my experience. i have tried them before (4 years ago) but didn't need to continue as i haven't found ANY deals on product. My company is primarily in automation for automotive painting of new parts. my largest client is Magna.
