But it goes to show you why some of us won’t take text apps. It is too easy to lie, harass, annoy, scam us too. Not to mention, no recourse with police should the person using the app also rape or rob us.

I wouldn’t respond at all. A response let’s them know you are getting their messages. Which will encourage them to keep going.Ignore such messages or tell them to go get f**ked and then block the number.
Do not feel threatened, I too receive such messages sometimes 2 or 3 times from different numbers.
