I was told that Anna doesn't fart, she's a homespun girl from Maine who likes beer, of course she does.

I checked out the specs to Alice Darling, it looks like an abusive relationship film. That's not good for her male co-star Charlie Carrick (Hudson & Rex), he could be committing career suicide. It's happened before, Patrick Bergin (Sleeping with the Enemy) and Michael Vartan (Jolene) careers went into the shitter after playing abusive SOs. Never say the first film, Julia Roberts annoys me, I did watch Jolene. Vartan's character turns violent after discovering her past, he knocks Jessica Chastain to the floor and punches her in the throat.
Jessie blew me away with her work in The Tree of Life, I wanted to see more of her. That scene made me flinch.

End of Watch is a great film.
