WTF are these guys smoking?

Another cross-lake ferry? This time from Ontario Place (no transit) to Port Weller in St. Catherines. And passengers only, no cars! Like someone is going to take a trip on foot to St. Catherines? LOL!

Time for Kevin O'Leary to tell PinBall Clemons to "bounce" before he goes down the gutter.

La la land
Remember the ferry they had bought from Australia to go from TO to Rocherster I think. Canada Customs was not involved at start so that went down fast.

That was a real joke.

If its mainly geared towards tourists in the summertime it could be successfull.
Tourists who visit the CN tower might want to take a quick ferry to St. Catherines, and then take a cab to go see Niagara Falls.
Its a lot faster then taking a car, train or bus. That can take up to 2 hours

It would have a better chance at success if the ferry went to Niagara on the Lake.
There is nothing in Port Weller worth seeing.
Hopefully they will set up some kind of deal with the wineries, or the wineries will run shuttle buses to the Port Weller dock for people.

Who hell wants to go to St Catherines, the several times that I drive to Niagara falls, I never stop by St Catherines

The small hovercraft service is being used in the UK with heavy government subsidies. I can see this working in the partnership with the provincial transit or even a part of it. Cutting the trip down by 1.5 hour or more is an attractive proposition under right circumstances.

On a side note…. I have decided to offer van transport from Port Weller in STC… right around the time these boats dock. 😎🎩💲💸
